What We are About
Dominic’s Torch is dedicated to creating a call to action for all people through the application of Catholic moral and social teaching to the signs of our times. Our culture has lost its way as a result of the heresies of moral relativism and modernism. As creatures created in God’s image, we must stop identifying as liberal or conservative and recognize our common call to embrace the truth of the Gospel.

Scott is a proud husband and father of four. Having grown up in Port Charlotte, FL, he eventually made his home in New Orleans, LA. Scott and his wife, Robin, are alumni of Loyola University in New Orleans, where they met at Freshman orientation. They now live in Ocean Springs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Scott was admitted to the Order of Friars Preachers (The Dominicans) as a Lay Dominican in 2003 and made his perpetual promise in the order in 2019. Scott’s faith is heavily influenced by his Jesuit education and Dominican charism
